Our family rented a house in Soda Springs for Christmas. The location across from the frozen lake was just perfect and beautiful. It was just the ideal White Christmas. The house was extremely conducive to a family gathering with a big kitchen open to the enormous living space with floor to ceiling windows that brought the outdoors inside. The location was very close to many ski areas and a little general store that saved us long trips to buy groceries. The management at Donner Summit is the best I’ve ever dealt with. They quickly answered any questions we had about the facilities before we arrived and were extremely helpful after we arrived.
